Unemployment from the UK and economic confidence from Germany are due on Tuesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.
At 3.00 am ET, retail sales data is due from Turkey. Sales had increased 1.2 percent on month in January.
At 4.30 am ET, the Office for National Statistics is slated to issue UK unemployment data for three months to February. The ILO jobless rate is forecast to remain unchanged at 4.3 percent.
At 5.00 am ET, Germany’s ZEW economic confidence survey data is due. The economic confidence index is seen at -1 in April versus +5.1 in March.
In the meantime, Italy’s Istat releases foreign trade data for February. The trade deficit totaled EUR 0.087 billion in January.
