Consumer and producer prices from euro area and services Purchasing Managers’ survey from the UK are due on Thursday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.
At 3.00 am ET, producer prices and foreign trade from Hungary and consumer and producer prices from Turkey are due. Turkey’s inflation is forecast to rise to 10.45 percent in April from 10.23 percent in March.
At 4.00 am ET, Norges Bank is set to announce its rate decision. The bank is expected to hold its key rate at 0.50 percent.
At 4.30 am ET, UK Markit/CIPS services Purchasing Managers’ Index is due for April. The index is forecast to rise to 53.5 in April from 51.7 in March.
Half an hour later, Eurostat publishes euro area consumer and producer prices for March. Flash inflation is forecast to remain unchanged at 1.3 percent in April.
Eurozone producer price inflation is expected to rise to 2.1 percent in March from 1.6 percent in February.
